This panel, taking place on October 5 at Bağlarbaşı Cultural Center as part of the 35th Akbank Jazz Festival, will briefly revisit such revolutionary shifts in jazz history and highlight the musicians who drove these transformative periods.

20 December 2023 - The sociological changes in the 19th century, especially in continental Europe, and their reflection on art will be studied with examples from Romanticism, Realism and Impressionism. Movements and trends in the first half of the 20th century will be discussed together with the gaps they have created in the form-content axis.
